Gravel Walk is a four-member group, which has been in the Corpus Christi area music scene  for over twelve years. The group's name, fit for their style, is derived from the driving Donegal fiddle tune "The Gravel Walks to Grainne's". At the core, Gravel Walk has a repertoire of traditional instrumental and dance music of Ireland and Scotland, played with their own Texas brand. Ballads, original tunes and songs from all over the Celtic music world are also played with an unusual combination of traditional and non-traditional instruments. Gravel Walk is Influenced by the works of world renowned groups, such as: the Chieftains, Altan, the Pogues, and the Dalriada Brothers. Combined with the influences of various other groups, Gravel Walk performs Music in the Celtic Tradition that is enjoyed by listeners, young and old... Irish and non-Irish alike.
